Practitioner
Anita Pebbles
For devoted, overwhelmed moms who are losing access to the calm, present parent they know they can be.
Anita works with parents — mostly moms — who are doing everything right and still feel like they're coming apart at the seams. The reactivity, the guilt, the exhaustion of being the one who holds it together. She knows that territory from the inside and knows what it takes to find solid ground in it.
She works specifically with the gap between the parent you want to be and the one who keeps showing up. The one who snaps, shuts down, or spirals over something that shouldn't be that big. Not because something is wrong with you — but because that reaction is coming from somewhere older, and it hasn't changed yet.

About Anita
A practitioner who found this work at her most frazzled — and has spent the years since learning what it actually takes to shift that kind of stuck.
Anita started her career as a video journalist in Sacramento, working for a local ABC affiliate and a Spanish-language station. She loved the craft and left anyway. The moment that made it clear came while she was sitting in a live truck during a police standoff — pumping milk for her newborn, alone, in 101-degree heat — and thought: I don't have to be here. She's at home. I could be there. She went home. She stayed home, and took on homeschooling.
That chapter came with its own reckoning. She had left a deep evangelical faith in 2013, and with it the identity she'd built around it. She spent years figuring out who she was without that structure. In the middle of all of it, something started collapsing in ways she didn't have language for — waking up in the morning feeling doom, overwhelmed, reactive in ways she couldn't explain.
In 2019, a friend at a park day mentioned "this guy who does something with eyes." Anita put it in her phone notes and mostly forgot about it. Two years later, someone else sent her a link. She recognized it. She went to an intro workshop. Carl asked the room why they were there. She said she wanted to know the secrets of the universe. He said okay. That was enough.
She completed the NLP Marin program and has worked there as staff and teaching assistant since. She practices alongside that — working primarily with parents, and mostly moms, who are exactly where she was: stretched thin, reactive in ways that confuse them, and disconnected from the version of themselves they're trying to be.

You may want to work with Anita if you:
You do not need to know exactly what to work on. You only need to know that something keeps repeating, and you are ready to meet it differently.
